- 3 lb. ground chuck
- 6 to 9 garlic buds
- 1 bunch celery, chopped fine
- 1 large can tomato sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 large chopped onions
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 large cans tomato paste
- 3 c. water
Directions

1Cook meat over medium heat just long enough to get redness out.

2Add onions, garlic, bell pepper, celery, salt, pepper and water.

3Simmer 3 hours.

4Add tomato paste and sauce.

5Simmer 1 hour longer.

6Add pinch of oregano, sweet basil, rosemary and 1 small can mushrooms.

7Freezes well.

8When I make spaghetti sauce, I double the recipe, because it takes so long to cook.

9I freeze it and use this sauce in my lasagna and spaghetti.
