- 2 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 5 oz. pepperoni
- 7 oz. Italian sausage
- 2 medium onions
- 2 (3 lb.) cans tomatoes, beaten up
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 3/4 c. red wine (you can substitute water)
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tsp. dried basil
Directions

1Brown ground beef; add onion and garlic (minced) until limp. Cook Italian sausage.

2Warm pepperoni.

3Combine all ingredients in large kettle.

4Reduce heat and simmer at least 3 hours, stirring occasionally.

5Remove bay leaves.

6Skim off fat before serving. Feeds 10.
