- 8 ounces spaghetti, uncooked
- 12 lb lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 14 cup green pepper, chopped
- 14 cup celery, chopped
- 12 teaspoon oregano
- 14 teaspoon basil
- 1 (14 ounce) can tomato sauce
- salt
- pepper
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 14 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Directions

1Break spaghetti in half.

2Cook in boiling salted water for 10 minutes or until tender.

3Drain.

4Meanwhile, brown ground beef.

5Add onion, garlic, green pepper and celery; cook until soft.

6Add oregano, basil, tomato sauce, and salt and pepper to taste.

7Cover and simmer 10 minutes.

8Spread half of spaghetti in a greased 8-inch square baking dish.

9Spoon half the sauce over the top.

10Sprinkle with cottage cheese, then half the mozzarella and Parmesan.

11Add remaining spaghetti, remaining meat sauce, and top with rest of cheese.

12Bake at 375 F for 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

13Let stand 5 minutes.

14Cut in squares to serve.
