  • 300 g (1/3 of 900-g pkg.) spaghetti, uncooked
  • 1 lb. (450 g) lean ground beef Safeway 1 lb For $5.99 thru 02/09
  • 1 red pepper, chopped
  • 1 jar (650 mL) Classico di Napoli Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce
  • 1/3 cup Kraft 100% Parmesan Grated Cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. non-hydrogenated margarine
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup Cracker Barrel Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Directions

    Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

    Cook spaghetti as directed on package, omitting salt.

    Brown meat in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat; drain.

    Add peppers; cook 3 to 5 min.

    or until crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.

    Stir in pasta sauce.

    Drain spaghetti; toss with Parmesan, margarine and eggs.

    Place in 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray; top with layers of cottage cheese, meat mixture and mozzarella.
