Spaghetti With Clams

Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1/3 c. olive ol
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. oregano, crumbled
  • 2 Tbsp. basil, crumbled
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 3 Tbsp. minced parsley
  • 1 1/2 c. minced clams, fresh or canned
  • 1 c. clam juice, fresh or bottled
  • salt
  • 1 lb. spaghetti
  • 1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Melt butter in a skillet and add the olive oil, pepper, oregano, basil, garlic, clams and clam juice.

    Simmer for 30 minutes.

    Add salt to taste.

    Cook the spaghetti, drain.

    Put it into a bowl and add the clam sauce.

    Toss with cheese and parsley.
