- 1/4 lb. okra, cut 1/4-inch thick
- 2 large fresh tomatoes, diced
- 3 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 3 drops Tabasco sauce
- 1 c. water
Directions

1Saute okra, tomatoes, onion and salt in butter for 5 minutes. Add chili powder, Tabasco sauce and water; mix well.

2Simmer, covered, on low heat until vegetables are tender and mix has thickened.

3Yields 6 to 8 servings.
