- 1 c. rice
- 1 whole tomato, finely chopped
- 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp. garlic
- 1 can tomato sauce
Directions

1Rinse your rice and set it in a drainer and set aside.

2In a skillet, put oil and let it get warm.

3After your rice has drained, put in oil and let it fry.

4Fry until browned.

5Drain as much oil out as you can.

6Put the tomatoes and onion in and fry for a few minutes more.

7After they are browned, then take off of heat and pour in tomato sauce and then 1 cup of water.

8Lower heat and leave until water is all gone.

9Do not mix or move it until all liquid is gone.

10If it is sticking, then lower the heat.
