Ingredients
- 1/4 c. onions
- 1/4 c. bell pepper
- 1/2 c. tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. cumin powder
- 2 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 c. Wesson oil
- 2 c. rice (plain, uncooked)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
Directions

1Heat Wesson oil in large skillet.

2Saute rice.

3Add onions and bell pepper.

4Mix garlic powder and cumin powder with tomato sauce and water together.

5Add mixture to rice.

6Let mixture come to a bubble.

7Add salt and pepper to mixture.

8After it bubbles for a minute, turn heat to low setting and cover with tight lid.

9Cook until steam stops coming out of lid, or for 20 to 25 minutes.

10Do not uncover until almost completed cooking.

11Serves 6 persons.
