Ingredients
- 1/2 bell pepper
- 2 c. rice, uncooked
- spices: salt, pepper, garlic and oregano
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 small can tomato sauce
Directions

1Saute onion and bell pepper in oil.

2Add rice and tomato sauce.

3Add water, enough to cover rice, about an inch.

4Add seasonings to taste.

5Stir well and bring to a boil.

6Leave uncovered and cook until liquid is almost gone.

7Lower heat for the last few minutes to dry out the rice.

8Be careful not to burn it.

9Serves 4.
