- 1 c. long grain rice (white)
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 2 tsp. seasoning salt
- dash of pepper
- dash of garlic powder
- 1 small onion, chopped
Directions

1Place oil and rice in skillet.

2On low to medium heat, saute until golden brown (continue stirring).

3Add onions; saute for 2 minutes.

4Add water, tomato sauce and all spices.

5Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer and cover tightly.

6Cook approximately 15 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
