  • 6 strips bacon, cut into pieces
  • 1/4 c. green pepper
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. cooked rice

Directions

    Fry bacon until crisp.

    Add peppers and onion, cook until brown.

    Add tomato sauce, water, sugar, salt and peppers; simmer 5 minutes.

    Add rice, mix well. Pour into well-greased casserole. Bake at 375° for 20 minutes or until top bubbles.
