  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 c. diced onions
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. chili pepper
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 4 c. tomatoes (fresh or canned), chopped
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

    Heat oil; add onions and green peppers.

    Cook until soft.

    Add ground beef, salt, black pepper and chili pepper.

    Cook until browned.

    Add tomato sauce, tomato paste and 4 cups tomatoes and 1 teaspoon sugar.

    Cook together 15 minutes on medium heat.

    Break spaghetti into pieces and cook according to directions on package. Do not overcook.

    Drain and add to sauce mix and put into casserole.

    Put into oven at 350° for 20 minutes.
