- 3 lb. spareribs
- 4 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 4 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 3/4 c. cider vinegar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. water
- chopped garlic and ginger
Directions

1Mix the soy sauce, salt, 4 tablespoons brown sugar and flour. Marinate ribs in the mixture for half an hour or longer.

2Fry the ribs in oil until brown.

3Add remaining ingredients and let meat simmer until tender.

4Slice turnips and carrots thinly and let stand in a little salt.

5Add to the spareribs before serving.
