Sparkling Mint Punch

  • 20 sprigs fresh mint
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 qt. hot water
  • 1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
  • 1 pt. frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 1/2 c. lemon juice
  • 10 1/2 c. (84 oz.) ginger ale or Seven-Up

Directions

    Sprinkle sugar overnight and cover with hot water.

    Simmer about 10 minutes.

    Strain and chill.

    Also chill juices and carbonated beverages.

    When ready to serve, combine mint, syrup and juices.

    Pour over ice ring in punch bowl, then slowly pour carbonated beverage over ring and serve.
