Special Boiled Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 2 gal. water
  • 1/4 box salt
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 jar prepared mustard
  • 4 lb. shrimp

Directions

    In an adequate cauldron containing 2 gallons of water, place salt, bay leaves, garlic clove and mustard.

    Bring to a boil and add shrimp and maintain the boil until the shrimp float and are easily removed from the shell.

    Drain and place in the refrigerator with a damp pad of paper towels until cold and ready to eat with your favorite cocktail sauce.
