  • 1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1/4 c. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • pecans or walnuts, chopped

    Sift flour; add melted Crisco.

    Combine sugar, cocoa and well beaten eggs.

    Add to flour mixture.

    Add vanilla and nuts.

    Bake in well-greased pan at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
