  • 2 sticks butter (can use 1 butter and 1 margarine)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 C. sugar
  • 1 C. confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 4 1/2 C. flour
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar

Directions

    Mix all ingredients well in a large mixing bowl.

    Roll into small balls and bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
