- 2 lb. beef stew meat (lean)
- 4 carrots
- 4 potatoes
- 3 large onions
- 1 large can tomatoes
- 1 tomato can water
- 3 Tbsp. tapioca
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Spread stew meat over bottom of roaster or Dutch oven.

2Cut vegetables into big chunks over meat.

3Pour canned tomatoes and can of water over all.

4Sprinkle with tapioca and seasonings. Cover and bake at 275° for 4 hours. Then remove cover.

5Stir and bake 1 hour longer.

6Serve with tossed salad and rolls.
