- 3 c. rye flour (coarse)
- 1 c. white flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- salt
- sugar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 lb. casing sausage
- 1/2 lb. bacon
Directions

1Mix rye flour, white flour and eggs together.

2Salt and sugar to taste and add the soda.

3Mix together with enough buttermilk to make a medium thin batter.

4Part sour cream will improve the batter.

5Fry the sausage and bacon.

6Cut bacon in small pieces and slice sausage in thin pieces.

7Heat skillet, preferably an iron skillet, until hot (well greased).

8Pour in pancake and skin of sausage and bacon.
