Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 3 1/2 c. Italian tomato sauce or 1 (30 oz.) jar Prego sauce
- 8 oz. cooked lasagna noodles
- 1 pt. canned tomatoes
- 2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 c. cottage cheese (optional)
- 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Brown the ground chuck in a medium saucepan.

2Drain off fat. Add tomatoes, Italian seasoning, sugar and tomato sauce.

3Simmer for 10 minutes.

4Cook lasagna noodles.

5Spread about half of the sauce in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

6Top with half of the noodles.

7Combine the cheeses.

8Top noodles with half of the cheese and more sauce.

9Repeat layers ending with sauce.

10Sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese on top.

11Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until bubbly.
