  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 34 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 12 teaspoon nutmeg, grated

  • 14 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 14 lb unsalted butter, softened (1 stick)
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 13 cup molasses
  • 1 cup raisins, coarsely chopped
  • 12 cup walnuts, chopped

    Preheat the oven to 350F.

    Grease a 15x10 inch jelly roll pan.

    Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, mace, and cloves in a mixing bowl.

    Using an electric mixer, cream the butter with the sugar in a large bowl until smooth and fluffy.

    Beat in the eggs and molasses until well blended.

    With the mixer on low speed, add the flour mixture, beating just until blended.
