  • 1 qt. pecan halves
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 Tbsp. cold water
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar

Directions

    Mix both sugars, spice and salt in a large bowl.

    Beat egg white and water in another bowl until mixture is frothy.

    Add pecan halves to egg white mixture and stir until pecans are coated.

    Pour into sugar-spice mixture and stir until coated. Spread on greased cookie sheet and bake at 250° until dry.

    Stir every ten minutes.
