- 1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) large can pineapple chunks (in own juice)
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1 tsp. whole cloves
- 1 tsp. whole allspice
- 2-inch stick cinnamon
Directions

1Drain and reserve pineapple.

2Measure 1 cup syrup into large saucepan.

3Add sugar, vinegar, cloves, allspice and cinnamon. Bring to boiling; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.

4Add pineapple and cook 3 to 5 minutes or until fruit is heated thoroughly.

5Remove from heat.

6Serve hot.
