- 1 qt. water
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sugar
- 8 whole allspice
- 8 whole cloves
- 3 small pieces stick cinnamon
- 1/4 c. vinegar
Directions

1Soak prunes overnight in water.

2Add sugar and spices, tied in a cheesecloth bag.

3Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.

4Add vinegar; cook 10 minutes longer or until syrup is fairly thick.
