Spiced Sugared Nuts

Directions

   Mix together in saucepan all ingredients.

   Bring to boil and cook without stirring to 236° on candy thermometer.

   Remove from heat and add 1 quart shelled nut halves (pecans or walnuts).

   Mix until all nuts are coated.

   Turn out on waxed paper and separate the nut halves from mixture while still hot.

   Let stand until cold.
