Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Chickpeas, Drained
  • 4 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1- 1/2 cup Shelled Pistachios
  • 1- 1/2 cup Almonds
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Chile Powder

Directions

    Drain the chickpeas, pour them on a rimmed baking sheet and toss them with 1 Tablespoon of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of salt.

    Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.

    Then add the rest of the nuts, oil and spices, toss and bake at 375 for another 10 minutes.

    Add more or less spice according to your preferences.

    The chickpeas should be very crunchy, almost hollow.
