Spicy Ranch Style Beans

- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1/2 whole Onion, Diced
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Pinto Beans, Drained And Rinsed
- 2 Tablespoons Chili Powder
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Mexican Oregano
- 1 cup Chicken Stock
- 2 Tablespoons Your Favorite BBQ Sauce
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
Directions

1In a medium saucepan, heat one tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.

2Add the diced onion, minced garlic, and salt and pepper to taste.

3Cook until onions are translucent (about 10 minutes).

4Then add the drained and rinsed pinto beans, chili powder, cumin, and Mexican oregano.

5Stir to combine, making sure the spices completely coat the beans.

6Next add the chicken stock and BBQ sauce and stir to combine.

7Bring the beans to a boil.

8After the beans come to a boil, cover and reduce heat to medium low.

9Simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occassionally.

10After 45 mintues, the liquid will have reduced by half, leaving a small amount of sauce.

11If less sauce is desired, then uncover and continue to simmer 5-10 more minutes.

12Serve hot and enjoy!
