  • 1 pkg. fresh or frozen spinach
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. minced onion
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. whipping cream
  • 3/4 c. grated cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. minced jalapeno or to taste
  • 4 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 container sour cream (optional)

Directions

    If using fresh spinach, cook on medium-high until spinach wilts, about 5 minutes.

    While cooking, add the garlic clove (minced) and sprinkle with salt and a little oil or butter.

    Add milk to spinach and puree.
