  • 3 eggs
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/8 Tbsp. pepper
  • 1/8 Tbsp. nutmeg
  • 1 bag spinach, cut
  • 1 c. Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Beat first 5 ingredients together.

    Butter square casserole dish (8 x 8).

    In layers, put 5 slices of bread (crust), fresh spinach (cut small). Add oil, garlic powder and Cheddar. Continue for second layer. Pour wet ingredients over all. Let sit 3 hours in refrigerator. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until brown, uncovered.
