Spinach Dip

  • 1 onion
  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 8 ounces frozen chopped spinach
  • 12 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 12 cup parmesan cheese

Directions

    Dice 1 onion in very small pieces and cook till clear.

    add 1/2 teaspoon of crushed red pepper.

    add 8 ounces chopped spinach that has been thawed and chopped into small pieces.

    (HINT: I take the chopped spinach from the freezer and hit it with my rolling pin.

    It crushes it into tiny pieces)

    cook till spinach is heated completely.

    add 1/2 cup parmesan cheese , stir and remove from heat (taste, as you may like more, I like it lightly flavored).

    after it has cooled a bit, I add 2 cups of mayo, or 1 cup or mayo and 1 cup sour cream {It is great either way.}

    season as you would like.

    I put garlic powder at times and also horseradish to make it a bit different.

    AS you make this recipe you will change it up as you go.
