Spinach Dip

  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. thawed, drained, frozen spinach
  • 1 can sliced, drained water chestnuts
  • 2 to 3 chopped scallions
  • 1 box dry Knorr vegetable soup mix
  • 1 loaf round pumpernickel or 2 loaves Italian bread

Directions

    Mix all ingredients except bread in food processor.

    Chill. Scoop centers from bread you prefer.

    Fill bread cavities with dip mixture.

    Cut bread centers into cubes.

    (May be toasted and used to dip with or used plain.)
