Spinach Dip

  • 1 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach
  • 1 pkg. Knorr leek soup mix (gourmet section)
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 (9 oz.) can water chestnuts (optional)
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1 round loaf French or sourdough bread

Directions

    Thaw and drain spinach.

    Mix together all ingredients. Refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours before serving.

    Hollow out center of bread and pour dip into it.

    Break up hollowed out bread for dipping; add breadsticks, raw vegetables and more bread for dipping.
