Spinach Dip

  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cut in cubes
  • 3 Tbsp. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 8 to 10 slices bacon, cooked crisp, drained and crumbled
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Directions

    Cook spinach per package directions.

    Drain well.

    In saucepan over low heat, mix together cheese, milk, margarine and nutmeg. Cook until cheese is melted.

    Remove from heat and stir in the spinach, half of the bacon and the lemon juice.

    Turn mixture into serving dish and sprinkle with remaining bacon.
