- 3 1/2 sticks butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 c. unsifted regular flour
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add flour, a little at a time, and mix well. Roll into 2 rolls, thick enough to shape cookie. Leave in refrigerator overnight. Cut into 1/4-inch slices when dough is warm enough to slice.

3Place on lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake in 350° oven until slightly brown. Very good.
