  • 2 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. light cream cheese
  • 1 stick margarine
  • grated rind of 1 lemon
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • pinch of nutmeg or mace
  • salt to taste
  • dash of red pepper
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 c. Pepperidge Farm herb dressing

Directions

    Cook spinach; drain well.

    While still hot, add cream cheese and 1/2 stick of margarine.

    Mix seasoning; add lemon juice. Place in a buttered casserole dish and sprinkle herb dressing on top.

    Melt remaining butter and drizzle over dressing.

    Bake at 350° for 1/2 hour.

    Serves 6 to 8.
