  • 2 c. finely chopped onions
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach
  • 3/4 c. grated Swiss cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • dash of nutmeg
  • unbaked 9-inch pie shell

Directions

    Saute chopped onions in butter.

    Cook spinach according to package directions; drain thoroughly.

    Combine onions, spinach, Swiss cheese and beaten eggs.

    Add milk and seasonings.

    Pour into pastry shell and bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
