  • 1 bunch spinach
  • 6 to 8 bacon slices, cooked
  • 1/4 c. chopped green onions (optional)
  • 1/3 c. vinegar
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 1 pkg. Italian dressing mix
  • 2 tsp. sugar

Directions

    Place cut up spinach in bowl.

    Add crumbled bacon and green onions and toss.

    Add vinegar, water, dressing mix and sugar to bacon fat in skillet.

    Heat to boiling and pour over spinach. Toss and serve immediately.

    Serves 6.
