- 1 pkg. frozen spinach
- 2 c. chicken broth
- 1 small onion
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. heavy cream
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cook spinach, then turn into blender with 1/2 to 3/4 cup cooking liquid.

2Add broth, onion, butter and flour.

3Press #4 and blend 40 seconds.

4Press #2; remove cap and pour in milk.

5Blend 10 seconds.

6Pour mixture into saucepan; simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.

7Stir in cream and seasonings.

8Serve at once.
