Spinach With Artichokes

- 4 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach
- 11 oz. cream cheese
- 8 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
- juice of 1 lemon
- salt and pepper
- seasoned salt
- ground nutmeg
- 2 (1 lb.) cans artichoke hearts, drained thoroughly
Directions

1Cook spinach according to directions only until completely thawed, drain thoroughly.

2Have cream cheese at room temperature, soften cheese well, then blend in melted butter until smooth.

3Add lemon juice and combine with spinach.

4Stir in all seasonings, blend well and check seasonings.

5Place artichoke hearts, pointed ends up, in large ovenproof baking dish (16 x 8-inches).

6Spoon spinach over artichokes, cover with foil.

7Punch a few holes in the foil and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

8Yields 15 servings.
