Split Pea Soup

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 1/2 Onion, chopped
- 2 Celery, sticks
- 3 garlic, sliced
- 1 pound Ham, chopped
- 1 pound Green peas
- 1 quart Chicken stock
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 2 Carrots, chopped
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon marjoram
- 1 pepper to taste
Directions

1Saute onion in butter, add sliced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

2Add carrots and celery cook for 2-3 minutes. Add Chicken stock, water, peas, bay leaf, Marjoram and pepper.

3bring to a boil, reduced heat and simmer for 1 hour.
