  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup flour

    cream 3 egg yolks with powdered sugar.

    stir in milk, about water and slightly heaped flour,sifted, beating well to get a smooth batter.

    fold in 3 beaten egg whites, add salt.

    mix to blend ingredients.

    fry as above to a nice golden Brown on both sides.

    spread with jam, preserves, or fruit filling of choice.

    roll up and dust with powdered vanilla sugar.
