- 5 eggs, separated
- 1 1/2 c. sugar (raw or white)
- 1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour or white
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Beat 5 egg yolks and water until thick and lemon colored. Fold in sugar, salt, vanilla, flour, baking powder and last, stiffly beaten egg whites with cream of tartar.

2Bake 1 hour or until done.
