- 1 cup dark corn syrup
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- chocolate, melted
Directions

1In a large, heavy saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup and vanilla.

2Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.

3Cook, without stirring, to 290-300°F.

4Remove from heat.

5Quickly stir in baking soda.

6Mix well.

7Turn into a deep, buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.

8Cool, then break into pieces.

9Dip into melted chocolate.
