- 2 c. milk
- 1 c. cornmeal
- 1 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. each: baking powder and salt
- 3 beaten egg yolks
- 3 stiffly beaten egg whites
Directions

1Stir 2 cups milk into cornmeal and cook until the consistency of mush.

2Remove from heat; add 1 cup milk, butter, baking powder and salt.

3Stir a moderate amount into beaten egg yolks.

4Return to mixture.

5Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

6Bake in greased 2-quart casserole at 325° for 55 minutes.

7Serve with butter. Serves 6.
