Ingredients
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
- 3/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 4 c. self-rising flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water; let stand 5 minutes.

2Combine butter and sugar in a large bowl, stirring well.

3Add yeast mixture and egg, stirring until blended.

4Gradually stir in flour. (Mixture will resemble batter rather than dough.)

5Cover tightly and refrigerate at least 8 hours or up to 3 days before using. Spoon dough into lightly greased muffin pans, filling each cup 2/3 full.

6Cover and let rise in a warm place (85°) free from drafts for 30 minutes.

7Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

8Yields 2 1/2 dozen.
