- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 4 c. self-rising flour or 4 c. plain flour with 1 tsp. salt and 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 sticks margarine, melted
- 2 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. sugar (3 tsp. if you don't like them real sweet)
- 1 egg
Directions

1Place yeast in 2 cups warm water.

2Melt butter; cream with sugar.

3Add egg.

4Add dissolved yeast to creamed mixture, then add flour and mix well.

5Place in airtight bowl.

6Store in refrigerator.

7To cook, drop by spoonfuls onto well-greased muffin tins and bake at 350° for about 20 minutes or until browned.

8This dough keeps for several days.

9Is better on second day.
