Ingredients

  • 2 c. warm water
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in warm water
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter
  • 1 egg
  • 4 c. self-rising flour

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in warm water; stir well.

    Beat egg and add yeast mixture, sugar, oleo and flour.

    Mix well.

    Use immediately or refrigerate in airtight container.

    Will keep for up to 2 weeks.

    Spoon batter in well greased muffin tin.

    Fill 1/2 full. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until brown.
