- 2 c. warm water
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 3/4 c. cooking oil
- 1 egg, beaten
- 4 c. self-rising flour
Directions

1Dissolve the sugar in the warm water; add the yeast.

2Stir and let rest about 5 minutes.

3Mix in the oil, egg and flour and stir until well mixed.

4Preheat the oven to 425°.

5Grease muffin tins. Because this is a really soupy mixture, spoon into muffin tins. Bake for about 20 minutes.

6The batter keeps well in the refrigerator for a week.
