- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 c. very warm water
- 1 1/2 sticks margarine, melted
- 1 egg, beaten
- 4 c. self-rising flour, unsifted
- 1/4 c. sugar
Directions

1Place in 2 cups warm water and stir until dissolved.

2Melt butter; cream sugar and butter in large mixing bowl, then add beaten egg.

3Add dissolved yeast to creamed mixture.

4Add flour and stir by hand until well mixed and smooth.

5Place in airtight container and refrigerate.

6Keeps for several days using as needed. Stir well before each use.

7To bake, drop by spoonfuls into well-greased muffin tins.

8Bake at 350°.
