- 1/4 lb. butter
- 1 c. farina
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 2 c. water
- 1 c. sugar
Directions

1Melt butter in deep pan; add farina and cook until golden color, stirring constantly.

2Stir in chopped nuts.

3Reduce heat. Meanwhile, bring water and sugar to a slow boil.

4Cook 3 minutes. Pour syrup slowly over farina, stirring with wooden spoon until halva is slightly thickened.

5Remove from heat.

6Cover; let stand 10 minutes.

7Shape with individual molds or with spoon.

8Place on large platters and sprinkle with cinnamon.
